Effective November 15, 2008 applicants with Grade 12 graduation are not required to write the assessment.  Those without Grade 12 graduation, will write the assessment which covers the following areas:

  • metric - units and conversion

60 minutes

Approximate Time: 2 1/2 Hours

A dictionary is not permitted. A calculator is permitted.

To help you prepare for the assessment, the following Learning Centres are available at no cost:

Nanaimo Learning Centre, Building 205, Room 204, usually open Mon – Fri 10:30 – 1:30.
