VIU offers two Teacher Education degree programs (approved by the B.C. College of Teachers), leading to a Bachelor of Education:
Master of Education Program
Post Degree Diploma Programs

Applications are accepted from November 15 of the preceding year. Deadline for applications is February 27.
Academic Advice
Students needing advice about the VIU Teacher Education Program should consult the Faculty of Education Advisors at the Nanaimo campus, 250-740-6223. Students completing the Concurrent degrees should consult the B.A. or B.Sc. Degree Advisors for information about the B.A. or B.Sc. portion of the concurrent degrees.
