The Program
Vancouver Island University offers a wide range of Degree Completion programs. Some students choose to transfer to other universities after one or two years to compete their degree. B.C. universities and most other Canadian institutions readily accept VIU transfer students.
General Advice: Students contemplating a B.A. program elsewhere should consult the VIU Advising Centre and the current university calendars to ensure that appropriate course selections are made.
Admission Requirements
Start Date and Application Deadline
Students may start in September or January; however, the selection of courses is usually greater in the Fall semester. Applications for September classes are accepted after November 15; deadline for applications is March 31.
