Forklift Certification/Training

Certification:

The Forklift Certification course is made up of two parts: theory and practical testing. Successful candidates will receive a two-year Operator Certificate which is recognized by WCB.

The course involves the completion of a self-paced workbook which takes approximately 2 - 3 hours; this must be completed before the student comes to class. There is a 1 and 1/2 hour classroom session to review the workbook and write the theory exam. Once the theory exam is complete, a 1/2 hour one-on-one practical evaluation is done with the student operating the forklift.

Training:

Students who have little or no practical experience on a forklift will have an additional 2 hours of practice before certification.

Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence

Tuition:

$200 for Certification

$300 for Training and Certification

$35 for the manual
