CCAA Players of the Month

The best badminton ever to be played in Nanaimo will take place this weekend. Play begins at 11am on Saturday and 9am on Sunday. VIU is in the hunt for a team medal and are currently sitting in the bronze medal position. A strong performance this weekend would assure them of a medal. In the individual event held on Sunday Megan Yim, a bronze medalist in the 2008 CCAA Nationals will be competing for a ticket to the 2010 national in Alberta. Other medal hopefuls will be Mike Clark and Jen Aronson in Mixed doubles. It should be a great show of top calibre badminton being played on a feature style stadium court !!
