Mariner
Press Release
The Malaspina Golf team won the UCFV (Univ.-College of the
Fraser Valley) Cascades Invitational Golf Tournament
this past weekend. Sept 25-26th hosted at the Ledgeview Golf
Course in Abbotsford.
Malaspina was leading by 8 stokes after day one and
evetually won by 25 strokes over second place Camosun Chargers.
7 BCCAA ( British Columbia Colleges' Athletic Association)schools
participated
Nick Rose was low gross with a two round 150.
This weekend (Oct 2-3) the Mariner Host at the Nanaimo Golf
Club. Camosun, Fraser Valley, Douglas , Kwantlen, and Columbia
Bible College will be attending.
The team then departs for the CCAA (Canadian Colleges' Athletic
Association ) National Championships in Niagra Falls on October
13-16.
Representing Malaspina will be Nick Rose, Brodie Williams,
Ryan Puska, Kyle Hewitt and Mark Kitts
