Comments by Bill McWhinnie Head Coach Women's Basketball team .....
On Thursday we lost a tough 70-66 game to Fraser Valley. I thought we played very well at times but lost focus late in the game which resulted in the loss. Definitely a positive weekend getting to play teams the calibre of Fraser Valley, SFU and UBC. In particuliar, getting to play SFU and UBC was a real learning experience getting to see two amazing teams play with such intensity for 40 minutes. I think we learned a lot of things this weekend that will help us throughout the season.
