Mariner coaches are all fully certified by the National Coaching Certification Program. They are leaders in our community and have been frequently recognized by the BCCAA and the CCAA for their excellence. The Mariner coaching staff is committed to the student athletes and their development as athletes and scholars.

ANUP KANG
4th year

•  President of Nanaimo Youth Soccer since 2002
• Div 1 Provincial Gold 2005
• 2006 Nanaimo Sports person of the year
• BC Summer Games Gold 2002
• 2003 setup District Development Center and Keeners program for soccer in Nanaimo
• 2001, coached U-14 Girls Metro Team to 2nd place finish in Metro League and Provincial "A" Cup Final. First Gold for Nanaimo in Provincial "A" Cup
  
• 2000 and 2001 teams were selected as the most outstanding teams at the Island Finals.
  

Goalie Coach
BRANDON CURR
3rd year

• Brandon has run sessions for Island Keeper Clinics the last ten years alongside Shel Brogsgard {Women's National Team Goalie Coach}, he has played for VIU Men's Team and Metro Soccer for Upper Island also coached a Metro Boys Team, he has just finished his teaching degree and is working in School District 68.
