The Learn Together Collaboratory

The Learn Together Collaboratory is a database-driven social networking web portal that enhances teaching and learning in BC’s higher education, and beyond. The Collaboratory facilitates knowledge creation and sharing across institutions with:

• A database of members tagged with self-identified expertise areas to help people with shared interests find each other.
• A database of events, which allows members to post and find information about workshops and conferences using calendar and interactive map interfaces.
• Databases of funding sources and recognition awards.
• A resource repository containing professional development materials.
• An Elluminate site to facilitate online webinars and discussions.
• RSS feeds that syndicate content to users.
