Media Stations

Three Media Stations are available in the Malaspina Commons, to the east of the Reference Desk. Use the Media stations for scanning pictures, slides, film and text documents, graphic design and image editing, web development, and desktop publishing, and accessing files on memory cards.

Course-related media production work (e.g. scanning, graphic design and image editing, web development, desktop publishing, etc.) has priority on the Media stations.

These workstations may be booked for up to 3 hours per day for course-related media production work (you'll find binders containing printed weekly timetables near the bookable workstations -- just write your name in the time slot you want to book) You will need a Discovery account to use the Media stations. You can print from the Media stations.

The Media stations run the Windows XP operating system, Microsoft Office and all other software programs available on our Productivity stations.
