Microsoft® Office 2007 Assistance

Microsoft Office® 2007 will continue to be installed on faculty and staff computers through Fall 2008. The VIU Teaching & Learning Centre (VIU TLC) will schedule workshops frequently to assist those switching from Microsoft Office® 2003 to 2007. These will be advertised in InVIU and by email. Numerous resources have also been gathered for Microsoft Office® 2007 applications.

The Quirks page contains details about quirky Office 2007 items such as: opening , saving & printing, Office® 2007 and Acrobat® Pro, customized toolbars, word count, table of contents crashes, metric and imperial rulers, Outlook® quirks, Excel add-ins (Analysis ToolPak®) and getting help.
