Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop CS2 (Creative Suite 2) is available on the Media stations in the Malaspina Commons.

With Adobe Photoshop, you can edit and manipulate digital images in many ways, including correcting colour and contrast, resizing, cropping, retouching, and adding or taking away elements in an image. You can use this program to edit photos for graphic and Web design, photography, and video.

An "Intuos3" drawing tablet may be borrowed from the Library Service Desk and used to draw, sketch, or write directly into Photoshop using the accompanying pen or mouse. The tablet may be borrowed for 4 hours at a time by VIU Students and employees (no renewals), and may be taken out of the library. Present your Employee or Student ID card at the Library Service Desk, and quote the tablet's call number, "LTABLET", to borrow the tablet. Instructions are included in the tablet package.
